Chinese is the hardest language to learn

Why?

Take for example

English= 26 letters in it's alphabet, hence only 26 characters to learn/learn how to use

--note: I realized that english actually had 26 letters... erps--

Japanese= 43 basic letters, plus and kanji borrowed from Chinese, which isn't *that* much

Malay= Same base alphabet as English

German= 49 [?] base letters

Many other languages also have base letters, even Tamil

Some say Icelandic is the hardest to learn

I beg to differ

Icelandic is the hardest to vocalize

Because there are many sounds that are not found in most other languages, e.g. nasal sounds and plosive sounds, along with other more obscure ones

Also, the level of inflection is much higher than other languages.

However, even Icelandic has a base alphabet

But Chinese?

Noooooooooo...

Instead we have multiple words, each word having one or more meanings

And it is written in a way that cannot be broken down to make much sense, except in special cases

Hence?

Chinese can be said to have over 10,000 "letters" in it's "base alphabet"

Which means, as opposed to learning/memorizing a few symbols, which then can be combined in a way that makes at least phonetical sense, we now have to learn 10,000 different words all with different pronounciations to have a grasp of this torture called "Chinese"

Also, this base alphabet consisting of the aforementioned 10,000 plus words, have none which allows direct inference of the phonetical form just by looking at the word

That's why Chinese just plain sucks

Okay first, E-Learning

Step 1: Follow teacher's instructions to a website

Step 2: Find a link to another website. Go to it

Step 3: See a file on the website. Download and open it

Step 4: To complete the worksheet, follow the link in the file

Step 5: Complete the question

Step 6: Find out the website you are supposed to submit it on... doesn't allow you to

HCI E-Learning for you

Seriously, the whole thing is super inefficient.

Most of my time is spent trying to track down the websites

Also, some assignments are given on one website, then the other website also have

Keeping track of it all is a pain in the, ermn, eye.

They should just upload the worksheet and each of the relevant notes.

Tsk.

Then, Quarantine

Singapore has almost 400, 400+ cases

Quarantine is near useless

You have more chance of catching it by going to the supermarket than flying in from America or something

But the main point is, the idea of quarantining at the point of arrival is useless

That's why there's so much person-to-person spread on flights

If they quarantined before departure, then no one on the flight will kenna, unless the symptoms haven't show themselves

Regardless, I hate quarantine for more personal reasons

But I find the E-Learning system seriously very annoying

3. Experience?
4. Seeing your face [or the fuzzy place where your face should be] on a low-quality YouTube video?
5. So you can show how zai HCINCC is?

[2] I have no idea, but probably definitely possible. Okay I don't follow what I just said
